“Rest&Roll Coffees shop, Home Office & Private Residence”

is consists of two different zones, divided into front and back part where there are two different functions for different users.

The front part, which is close to the road, is the coffee shop section that will be served to  many outsiders.

Behind the coffee shop is home office and residence area where high privacy is needed.

By having these two parts clearly separated in order to make the coffee shop more interesting than the home office and residence.

There are quite a lot of different floor levels inside and this resulting to create better flow of the space as interesting as when two 2-story buildings connect to each other.

As for the coffee shop, we have designed it to look like a "Barn" form to look rustic, relaxed, but modern.

Using wood as the main material to make the coffee shop more cozy and using dark brown, Americano color for the coffee shop exterior.

To make it more interesting, we lifted the building up above the street level, making this coffee shop interesting.

For home Office and residence zone, creating the space that allow residence to look over to the sea is very important as the site located not far from the beach.

Due to the untypical shape of the land, the building has different perspectives. In order to make every part of 2nd and 3rd floor to get their own sea view, the designer decided to raise up the height of Bedroom 3 to be higher than Bedroom 2 so these two spaces will not obstruct good view from each other.

The roof deck area space is reserved for the future development. And this would be the best place to host a small party outdoor or in a glass house where people can enjoy the panoramic view of the sea as well.
